Business Management & Entrepreneurship Instructor @ Berks Career & Technology Center - Leesport (West Campus)

Berks Career & Technology Center is looking for a permanent full-time (10-month/year) Business Management & Entrepreneurship Instructor at our Leesport (West Campus) location at the opening of the 2020-2021 school-term.

 

This position will provide quality occupational instruction to secondary career and technical students that will prepare them to perform development, marketing and management functions associated with owning and operating a business. The core curriculum is a Virtual E-commerce Enterprise.

 

The selected candidate must possess the following PDE certificate: Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies, CIP Code: 52.0701 (Business, Computer & Information Technology 1603, Marketing/Distributive Education Teacher Coordinator 1668 or Marketing Distributive Ed 1666) or must have the following qualifications to obtain the required certificate:

 

Must hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Ed, Marketing, or related field. Have 4+ years of recent full-time wage-earning work experience beyond the training period in the areas of business management, marketing and/or finance. Ability to work in a team-teaching environment. Must complete PDE required course work and certification process, if not already certified. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage and motivate high school students.
