The Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 is one of 29 Intermediate Units throughout Pennsylvania delivering effective, cost-efficient, educational, technical and business services on a regional basis. The LIU is a regional education service agency serving public school districts, nonpublic schools, charter schools, and the communities of 25 school districts in Adams, Franklin, and York counties. Based in south central Pennsylvania, we provide a vast array of educational services with a mission of empowering our customers to solve their most challenging problems that impact learning and quality of life. One of our many areas of focus is Special Education. Our Special Education division includes programs in Preschool, Blind/Visually Impaired Support, Deaf/Hard of Hearing Support, Autistic Support, Multiple Disabilities Support, Intensive Learning Support, Life Skills Support, Emotional Support, and more.

To provide a positive educational program for children identified as requiring
special education programs and services using effective instructional practices.
Qualifications
- Pennsylvania certification in special education in the area/level of assignment
- Successful classroom teaching experience preferred
Terms of Employment
Full-time, 188 days/year
Salary
Per LIUEA contract (min. $44,987), plus competitive benefits including medical,
