Special Education - Autistic Support

The Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 is one of 29 Intermediate Units throughout Pennsylvania delivering effective, cost-efficient, educational, technical and business services on a regional basis. The LIU is a regional education service agency serving public school districts, nonpublic schools, charter schools, and the communities of 25 school districts in Adams, Franklin, and York counties. Based in south central Pennsylvania, we provide a vast array of educational services with a mission of empowering our customers to solve their most challenging problems that impact learning and quality of life. One of our many areas of focus is Special Education. Our Special Education division includes programs in Preschool, Blind/Visually Impaired Support, Deaf/Hard of Hearing Support, Autistic Support, Multiple Disabilities Support, Intensive Learning Support, Life Skills Support, Emotional Support, and more.
 
Program
Special Education - Autistic Support

Description
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will provide intensive treatment for children and adolescents. The majority of the services involves providing Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention for students in PreK through school age, but can also involve conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and developing Behavior Intervention Plans.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required.
Must hold a current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certificate obtained through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, or hold a current license for behavior specialist in the State of Pennsylvania.
Required experience must include at least one (1) year experience completing comprehensive functional assessments and behavior support plans, with two (2) years’ experience serving individuals with lifelong disabilities.

Terms
Full-time, 188 days, plus benefits.
