Superintendent

Appointment on/about July 1, 2021.
Enrollment approximately 1,895; grades K-12.

Successful candidate will maintain a high standard of ethics, possess the ability to work in a culturally diverse community with a wide range of Socioeconomic levels, have experience evaluating and reorganizing staff, revising procedures, and implementing policy changes to improve efficiency, establish a strong and effective management team and coordinate decision making with other administrators, provide options and recommendations for the board and accept board directives and implement them while also supporting annual areas of focus and initiatives adopted by the board, provide oversight of a district-wide technology infrastructure for the enhancement of student learning and efficient district operations, possess well-developed project management skills to continuously inspect district programs for their impact on student achievement, readiness, and success, and align such efforts with the continued growth and development of staff, demonstrate strong skills in school finance, budgeting, and cost effectiveness strategies while able to evaluate the budgetary impact of district initiatives, especially in today’s environment of limited resources, possess knowledge of educational trends, research, and innovative practices with a sincere interest in the education and personal development of young people, be reflective, tolerant, and inclusive while being contributing members of society. Salary is negotiable and will be competitive, based on training and experience, qualifications and meeting board criteria including but not limited to the skills listed above.
