Special Education Supervisor

 The LIU Special Education division is seeking a Supervisor for the Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Visually Impaired programs. This position is responsible for overseeing the programs, supervising teachers and/or therapists and assistants, and communicating effectively with staff, school districts, and parents. Responsible for providing relevant staff development opportunities. Statistical analysis, analytical thinking, and management of the details of multiple projects at one time while utilizing complex decision making aligned with local, state and federal compliance regulations occurs on a regular basis. Position involves travel throughout the LIU region of Adams, Franklin and York counties, as well as outside the LIU region. See attached DRAFT job description for more information.

 PA Supervisory Certificate - Special Education PK-12 or Principal K-12

Master's Degree

Relevant Experience: 

5 years of Special Education experience required

Successful classroom teaching experience

Act 93, Full-time, 260 days
