Secondary Principal

THE Smethport Area School District is accepting applications for a Secondary Principal (grades 7-12), a permanent, full-time 12-month position at Smethport Jr./Sr. High School. Successful candidate will begin work in March or April 2021. Candidate must possess proper PA PK-12 or 7-12 Principal Certificate and/or Superintendents Letter of Eligibility. A Master’s Degree in Administration and Administrative experience are preferred. Strong Leadership skills, knowledge of: safety & security, technology, special education, positive school climate, conflict resolution, career education, curriculum & instruction, data based decision making are required. Strong communication skills are necessary.
