K-6 Special Education Itinerant Teacher
K-6 Special Education Itinerant Teacher - Permanent, full-time position beginning with the 2020-2021 school year. Special education teacher is responsible for planning and implementing an effective program of instruction based on students' Individualized Education Programs (IEP's).
Job responsibilities include:
- Teaching social skills instruction - creating lesson plans and instructional material to meet individual student needs that align to all applicable state standards, assessment anchors, and eligible content
- Collaborate and assist regular education teachers in the implementation of special education supports and services to meet social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
- Experience in academic, social, and behavioral (ABA principles) programming
Requirements
- PA Special Education Certification Required
- Experience preferred
