Assistant Executive Director
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:
· Serve in the backup role to the Executive Director.
· Co-supervise IU13 Department Directors and the IU13 State-Wide Initiatives Team.
· Provide visionary leadership in developing and monitoring IU13’s yearly goals and milestones that support the IU13’s strategic priorities.
· Lead the development and implementation of effective, coherent staff development for all IU13 Act 93 administrators and senior leaders.
· Establish system(s) to review all board policies on a regular cycle, and lead IU13 compliance activities.
· Lead the completion, mid-term review and submission of the PDE mandated Comprehensive Plan cycle for IU13.
· Serve as the backup IU13 “Right to Know” Officer and respond to RTK requests within appropriate time limits.
· Promote IU13 as a leader in education throughout Lancaster and Lebanon Counties, and beyond, by representing IU13 at appropriate forums.
Requirements: Master’s Degree required; Doctorate preferred; PA letter of eligibility; Five (5) plus years of proven school district, intermediate unit, or state agency leadership experience.
