Coordinator of Equity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement

Full-time, 12 month, Act 93 administrative position available immediately.
 
The Perkiomen Valley School District is seeking a dynamic and innovative leader poised to promote the development and implementation of proactive diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives which will support the District’s students and staff and advance the mission. The Coordinator of Equity, Inclusion and Community Engagement is an administrator reporting directly to the Superintendent. The Coordinator will lead the development of a vision and effective strategy that champions the importance and value of diverse, equitable, and inclusive school settings. The Coordinator will engage faculty, staff, students, and community members to strengthen the welcoming and inclusive culture in the District. The Coordinator will identify potential barriers and develop strategies focused on recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce and designing professional development initiatives on cultural competency, gender differences, disability, and other topics designed to increase awareness and support of equity and inclusion values, district-wide.
 
 Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred.
Salary established consistent with experience and ability, and approved by the Board of School Directors.
