Principal - Special Education and Pupil Services Division
The Allegheny Intermediate Unit is seeking a principal in its Special Education and Pupil Services Division. The individual is accountable for providing an educational environment in the AIU-operated special education school that fosters academic achievement, behavioral growth, and appropriate social functioning for students with disabilities. Duties and responsibilities include the effective management of resources; collaboration, engagement, and communication with internal and external stakeholders; oversight of school-based systems that ensures fair and equitable practices, and maintenance of positive school climate and culture that promotes for students and staff.
