ANTICIPATED VACANCY SOCIAL WORKER WESTERN WAYNE SCHOOL DISTRICT
SOCIAL WORKER-BSW or MSW Under the direct supervision of a Licensed Social Worker or School Administrator, A Bachelor’s Level Social Worker (BSW), A Master’s Level Social Worker (MSW) will connect with homeless families, immigrant families, foster families, and others to determine areas of strength, needs, current situations or changes that challenges their current status; collaborate with educations and administrators to assist in planning with the student and their family to problem solve situations that may impede academic progress; assist in connecting students and their families for community services; serve as a liaison for families within the school for families with community agencies and primary care physicians; and families in resolving truancy related issues.
