POSITION: Spanish Teacher – Long Term Substitute

We seek a highly organized, self-motivated individual with excellent written and verbal
communication skills who has experience working with teenagers from August 26, 2024
to January 28, 2025.

JOB SUMMARY: 

Teach Spanish to students in Comprehensive Technical High School

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

• Instruct students by lecturing, demonstrating and using audio visual aids
• Assign lessons and correct homework, if applicable
• Keep attendance records
• Maintain discipline in classroom
• Meet with parents to discuss student progress and problems
• Participate in faculty and professional meetings
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university
• Valid PDE teaching certificate or the ability to qualify for Emergency Permit
• Knowledge of Google Suite (Google Classroom, Forms, Sheets, Docs), student grading
• system, Power Point, Internet
• Communicate effectively – orally and written
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work in partnership with staff

Upon hire, criminal clearances – FBI, PA Criminal and Child Abuse, a physical, TB Test and documentation to prove eligibility to work in the USA will be required.
